His interests in buildings and design led him to Victoria University of Wellington, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture Studies.
From 2018 to 2020 he interned at award winning New Zealand landscape architecture firm Wraight + Associates. At the beginning of 2021 he joined Australian modular construction start-up XFrame as a parametric specialist, developing automated construction processes.

Luke currently tinkers on side-projects ranging from software plugins, 3D-printed ceramics, point-cloud visualisation and designing imaginary spaces. While working at XFrame, he established Matihiko Group, with the aim of making novel and innovative technologies accessible to the public through creative works, exhibitions and public projects.

If you want to see more work-in-progress, you can check out some other work on 3D visualisation website SketchFab.
